Currently, in Taiwan, the recycling pathway of lithium-ion batteries is primarily involves selling black mass overseas after mechanical treatment. The Environmental Protection Administration is urging domestic enterprises to keep the resource processing within the country. In response, UWin Resource Regeneration has successfully conducted trial production of environmentally friendly lithium batteries recycling technology. We have adopted safe, low-carbon, and eco-friendly processing techniques to become the supplier of recycled lithium battery metals. After purification, our product can meet the electronic-grade high purity lithium carbonate.

 

Chairman Hsu of the UWin Resource Regeneration has stated that the electronic-grade lithium carbonate was tested by Director Yang of the Green Energy Battery Research Center. Because of its high purity, its electronic characteristics surpasses batteries manufactured from lithium carbonate from Japan by 5%. This indicates that recovered lithium carbonate exhibits a higher electrical capacity and charging and discharging efficiency.

 

UWin Resource Regeneration has received the Excellent R&D Award from the Taiwan Chemical Industry Association (TCIA), hoping to promote the circular economy, responsible consumption and production, and ESG goals.
